PET
The many features of this material include its resistance to moisture, oxygen, odours and fats. It has good mechanical properties and it is the ideal material for high quality packaging of fresh
fruit and vegetables.
Polypropylene (PP)
A good relationship between solidity and resistance to loads, it is not affected by fats or oils and it is suitable for use in microwaves.
It is used to package foods such as margarine, dairy produce, ready meals, meat and fish products etc.
PLA (PolyLactic Acid)
PLA is a polymer material manufactured from renewable resources (etc corn and sugar beet).
It is suitable for many applications in food packaging, with properties such as:
